Healthy Eating

Do you find it difficult to keep up with the latest nutrition news because it's always changing? While it's true that what is known about nutrition and diet evolves as new research studies are published, there are some nutrition "basics" that are central to healthy eating.  Mastering these nutrition basics will empower you to sort through the latest research and know what is credible.  We can help you with the basics and beyond.

If you already understand the "basics" yet struggle with coming up with a healthy eating plan, let us work with you to design a personalized dietary plan that takes into account your health status, lifestyle and food preferences. Partnering with you, we can design a healthy eating plan that you can live with!

Specific Clinical Conditions

We are experienced and competent to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for the nutritional management of several medical conditions including type 2 (adult onset) diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, as well as a variety of food allergies or intolerances. We can review your recent lab work (blood tests, urinalysis, etc.), medical history and lifestyle choices and help you make the changes to your diet that your physician is wanting and that you can live with!  Remember, many extended health benefit plans will cover the cost for MNT, provided clinical services are provided by a Registered Dietitian.  Let us help you on the road to better health.

Mental Health Nutrition (Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, ODD)

Our Senior Dietitian spent several years conducting clinical research in the outpatient Psychiatry Department at the Children's Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her area of specialty is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) including comorbid conditions such as anxiety disorder (ANX), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, etc.
